Administrations Officer

The Griffith Ex- Servicemen’s Club is currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer on a permanent part-time basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the Administration Manager and will provide relief duties at reception and in other areas of the club as may be required. 

Previous administration experience especially with accounts receivable and payable required.
Main responsibilities and duties include:

- Data entry
- Daily Banking & Reconciliation of all Departments
- Invoicing of Creditors & Debtors & Monthly Reconciliations
- General Administration
- Reception duties – Welcome patrons, membership, handle enquiries, phone calls

Key competencies and essential criteria:

- Sound computer literacy skills 
- Excellent communication skills
- Current RSA certification (Competency card) 
- High attention to detail 

The position is for 20 – 30 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday however these hours are negotiable. A competitive salary commensurate with experience and ability will be offered to the successful candidate.

Sports Club Supervisor 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Club Supervisor with strong leadership and exceptional customer service skills to join the Exies team. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of our Sports Club. 


To be considered for this position you must:
- Have previous experience in a supervisory/management role.
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of all operational areas of a registered Club.
- Be customer service focussed. 
- Possess strong leadership skills and be comfortable giving direction to other staff. 
- Have the ability to problem solve. 
- Have a strong knowledge of all relevant legislation including WH&S, RSA, RCG.
- Possess a current RSA/RCG competency card.
- Be available to work both days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Take pride in your appearance and be well groomed.
- Be available to commence work immediately.
The successful applicant will report to the Operations Manager.

Club Attendant - Multiple Roles

We are currently seeking casual bar and floor attendants with exceptional customer service skills to join the Exies team.

- Hold a current RSA/RCG competency card
- Possess high level customer service skills
- Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Work well on your own or as part of team
- Be available to work both days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Take pride in your appearance and be well groomed

Previous Bar, Gaming, Tab and Keno experience would be desirable but not essential.

Motel Manager

The Exies Bagtown Motel boasts 52 rooms, a restaurant, bar and a private function room that can seat up to 250 guests. The Griffith Ex-Servicemen’s Club Ltd is now seeking an experienced Motel Management team that will bring a “hands on” approach to managing our Motel and Function centre. 
The position requires the successful applicant/s to be involved in all facets of the business to ensure the smooth running of the Motel operations. 

The manager will be required to: 

Deal directly with our Motel guests
Handle bookings, enquiries and customer queries
recruitment of staff and organisation of staff training
Accurately prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors and Management team (using MYOB). 
Meet key performance indicators set by the Board of Directors 
Work within a set budget
Ensure guests comfort and return business 
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance both interior, exterior and grounds
Actively source and build corporate relationships 
Promote the Bagtown in the local community and surrounding areas
Oversee the bar and restaurant operations

Desirable Knowledge, skills and attributes:
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate others
Good problem-solving ability
Excellent financial planning and management skills

It is essential that applicants possess the following:
A minimum of 5 years motel management experience
The ability to obtain a liquor licensee (RSA certification, NSW police check) 
A thorough knowledge of all relevant legislation regarding licensed premises
Availability (“on call”) 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

An incentivised remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on their experience and suitability.  

This position requires the successful applicant/s to reside on premises in a 3-bedroom apartment which will be incorporated in as part of the remuneration package.
